We are pleased to announce the 2nd annual Voak Sportswear Classic golf tournament taking place July 11th, 2022 at Bridges Golf Course in Starbuck, Manitoba.
As the Voak Sportswear brand continues to evolve our emphasis and commitment to customer experience, community building and support both local and international charities remains a focal point.
In 2021 we launched the Voak Sportswear Classic, our re-interpretation of the charity golf tournament. Each year the event partners with a different partner athlete in primary support of their foundation or partner foundation. Our inaugural event, in partnership with Winnipeg Jets captain Blake Wheeler, raised $40,000 for CancerCare PROFYLE while also investing over $10,000 towards other initiatives including Josh Morrissey’s Glass Half Full Foundation, CJ Suess’s mental health initiative SWYFT, The Dream Factory, Jump Start and the Falk Fehr Foundation.
We are excited to announce we are back for round two, this year in partnership with NFL rising star and Walter Payton NFL Man of the Year nominee, Aaron Jones. The Green Bay Packer running back will be joining us for the July 11th event as we roll out the red carpet and offer up some Manitoba hospitality.
This year’s event will be proceeded by a 7-day online sports memorabilia and experience auction that will be once again accessible to all and will kicking-off July 4, 2022 at givergy.ca/voaksportswearclassic
